A few pics of me riding the Tail of the Dragon back in 2004 on my famous Kawasaki Concours, named Speedipus Rex.
Speedipus Rex was my favorite of the pseudo-latin species names of the legendary Road Runner cartoon character. Others included Acceleratii incredibus, Velocitus tremenjus, Hot-roddicus supersonicus, Velocitus incalculii, Disappearialis quickius and Burn-em upus asphaltus.
You will notice the Road Runner graphics on the "Connie" front fairing, which has become a personal trademark of mine. I also have the the Road Runner painted on my Honda Goldwing.
